Stewarding Systems, Culture & Community

My practice is deeply rooted in the belief that how we organize is just as important as what we’re organizing toward. I integrate rigorous project management, community-centered values, and visual & strategic thinking so every initiative is both sustainable and soulful.
I see my role as a bridge—between the now and the not-yet, between structure and story, between vision and implementation.

This orientation allows me to support organizations and teams in developing practices that are incremental yet transformational.
I position myself as a Steward of Systems & Culture—speculating on sustainable paces, processes, and connection. I tend to the architecture of how we work together: supporting strategic planning, nurturing values-aligned operations, and cultivating shared ownership across teams

My approach is relational and rigorous, weaving practical project management with systems thinking and community accountability. I steward culture not through top-down enforcement, but through careful listening, clear communication, and frameworks that center well-being, reflection, and iteration. The goal is always a living, adaptive ecosystem that reflects both values and operational goals.
Core Process
1. Listen, Observe & Research
This phase centers spoken history, visioning, and identifying tension points. We capture current systems, processes, capacity, and resources through observation paths tailored to your project scope. Typical reviews include past programming, contracts, strategic plans, staffing materials, media, and administrative tools. Included in the initial two-session co-visioning workshop.
2. Present the Story — Presentation / Proposal
I translate findings into a formal presentation or proposal that names the problem, proposes broad strategy(ies), and builds consensus on priorities. This is where we revision scope and set shared goals.
3. Chart the Path
We refine paths and action plans: prioritized recommendations, step-by-step roadmaps, and implementation-ready materials. Depth of charting depends on scope, budget, and timeline and can be adjusted to meet needs.
4. Cultivate
Hands-on development of processes, workflows, administrative systems, staffing structures, budget templates, principles of practice, and tools needed to operationalize the strategy.
5. Implementation + Recommendations
Temporary coordination, administration support, program direction, project management and iterative recommendations based on applied systems. Expect change—make space for it—and receive tailored guidance for maintaining and adapting systems over time.
