Simone Studios is a stewardship practice rooted in observation, relationship, and thoughtful action.


Every project carries its own history, relationships, rhythms, and ways of working. Rather than beginning with solutions, I begin by expanding how we perceive the situation together.  Observation creates space to understand what is happening beneath the surface and what might become possible through small, intentional shifts. In this way, I am inspired by the Japanese philosophy and practice of Kaizen (continuous improvement).

My practice is shaped by systems thinking, design justice, and my lived experience as an autistic practitioner. I naturally recognize patterns across people, communities, and organizations, but I don't believe observation is about certainty. It is a practice of remaining curious, listening deeply, and allowing our understanding to evolve as we learn together. 

The work of stewardship is not to control change.



It is to care for the conditions that allow meaningful change to emerge. Whether developing curriculum, guiding a creative project, facilitating collaborative conversations, or strengthening organizational practices, I approach each engagement with the same question:

Meaningful work begins with understanding.

Whether I am supporting a creative project, educational initiative, or organizational transition, I begin by observing relationships, patterns, and the conditions from which they emerge. Together, we make sense of complexity before moving toward action.

My work is guided by a simple circular stewardship model:   

  • OBSERVE︎︎︎ SHARED UNDERSTANDING︎︎︎ CONSENSUS︎︎︎ STEWARD   

  • Observe: what is present, what is repeating, and what may be going unseen?
  • Shared Understanding: What are the relationships, conditions, and systems shaping the work? 
  • Consensus: Work through a consensus model that promotes shared accountability, participation, and decision-making.
  • Steward: thoughtful action that supports people, strengthens process, and creates lasting change.

The full framework continues to evolve through my practice and research. This simple model offers a shared starting point for our work together.

With more than six years of experience across nonprofit, arts, and higher education environments, I translate strategic vision into structured, milestone-driven implementation. My experience includes curriculum architecture, cross-functional coordination, project management, facilitation, and operational systems design for grant-funded, community-based, and time-sensitive initiatives. I enjoy bringing structure to complexity, establishing sustainable workflows, and helping teams move from ideas to implementation with clarity and intention.

Rather than applying one solution to every project, I work collaboratively to understand what each community, team, or organization needs to move forward in ways that are both practical and deeply aligned with its values.




Selected Experience


I have supported program design, curriculum development, and network infrastructure across nonprofit, arts, and higher education environments.

Recent and notable collaborations include:

  • Underground Music Academy — Led launch of first online course cohort; developed curriculum systems, operational workflows, and milestone tracking structures.
  • Design Justice Network — Scoped and implemented special projects supporting member experience, resource development, and cross-network coordination.
  • Bowling Green State University — Designed and delivered multi-course instructional frameworks and managed exhibition and production timelines.
  • IWG Workplace — Managed high-volume operations and client experience within a fast-paced business environment.

Additional work spans grassroots initiatives, cultural institutions, and distributed learning environments.




Pricing: 


I offer both hourly consulting and project-based contracts.  Every engagement is shaped collaboratively, with scope and deliverables tailored to the project's needs and budget whenever possible.

Organizations: Starting at $50-75/per hour 

Individual Artists: Starting at $25/hour

My practice is especially suited for those working across arts, culture, design, education, and social justice.

I welcome opportunities to support individual artists, emerging organizations, and creative teams who are developing projects, strengthening studio practices, or navigating periods of growth. Through collaborative thought partnership, systems observation, and strategic recommendations, we work together to build thoughtful and sustainable paths forward.
